New Delhi: India on Sunday reported the highest single day spike of 9,971 more COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
287 deaths were also reported taking the total death toll to 6,929.
The country’s coronavirus cases have reached 2,46,628 including 1,20,406 active cases.
Maharashtra continues to remain the worst affected state with 82,968 cases.
