New Delhi: A top American Senator has said against China that People’s Liberation Army appears to have instigated the violent clashes between Indian and Chinese troops at the Galwan valley in Ladakh on June 15 night.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said, “On land, for the sake of grabbing territory, the PLA appears to have instigated the most violent clash between China and India since those nations went to war in 1962.”
He further said that he expects peace from both the nuclear countries.
McConnell said, “Needless to say, the rest of the world has watched with grave concern this violent exchange between two nuclear states. We are encouraging de-escalation and hoping for peace.”
China is being accused by America when the Senator said that Beijing was the biggest threat to the United States of America and its allies.
Earlier today, US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo extended his condolences on the loss of lives of soldiers.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the people of India for the lives lost as a result of the recent confrontation with China,” US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a tweet.
