New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended his wishes to the people on the occasion of Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra.
“My heartiest greetings to all of you on the auspicious occasion of Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra. I wish that this journey filled with reverence and devotion brings happiness, prosperity, good luck and health to the lives of the countrymen. Jai Jagannath!”, PM Modi tweeted.

The Supreme Court of India on Monday granted permission to conduct Rath Yatra in Puri, Odisha however with restrictions.The SC said that the Yatra will be held with coordination of Temple committee, State and central Govt without compromising with health issue.
The apex court had earlier stayed the annual Rath Yatra and all activities related to the gathering in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.
