New Delhi: India recorded highest ever single-day jump of 38,902 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 10,77,618 on Sunday.
Also 543 more deaths were reported in the country in the last 24 hours thereby taking the death toll to 26,816.
The Health Ministry said the total number of cases includes 3,73,379 active cases and 6,77,423 patients have been cured/discharged/migrated.
Maharashtra’s coronavirus tally crosses 3 lakh mark. The state has a maximum number of 3,00,937 cases until Saturday.
