New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind has given his consent to rename Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) as Ministry of Education as per Union Cabinet’s notification for the same.
A gazette notification published on Monday said the President had given his nod to changing the name.
The Union Cabinet had on July 29 approved a new education policy and took some major decisions that included renaming the Ministry of Human Resource and Development as the Ministry of Education.
