Srinagar: The construction of Jammu and Kashmir’s Bakshi football stadium in Sringar has resumed in full swing after it was put to halt due to coronavirus outbreak.. The stadium is expected to have a seating capacity of 18,000 people.
The stadium will be converted into International Football stadium with Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) norms under National Projects Construction Corporation (NPCC) with the budget of Rs 50 crores.
The ground will be made as per FIFA norms with irrigation and drainage system. The ground will also include an eight-lane athletics track as well.
