Aurangabad: AIMIM MP Imtiyaz Jaleel on Wednesday threatened the Maharashtra government that Muslims will go on roads to perform Namaz if they are not allowed to open Mosques from September 2.
He also told PTI that there was no logic in the Shiv Sena-led state government’s insistence on keeping religious places shut any longer.
Maharashtra is the most affected state in the country due to coronavirus pandemic with over 7 lakh cases. Lockdown has been imposed in the state and social gatherings have been banned in religious and public places.
