Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that the under-construction Mughal museum in Agra will be renamed after Maratha emperor, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
CM Yogi asserted that his government “always nurtured the nationalist ideology and anything which smacks of a subservient mentality will be done away with”.
He was reviewing the projects worth over Rs 10 crore and other mega developmental projects of Agra division comprising Agra, Firozabad, Manipuri and Mathura districts.
“How can our heroes be Mughals? The very name of Shivaji invokes a feeling of nationalism and self-esteem,” CM Yogi added.
