New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday said that there has been a significant drop in the terror incidents, stone pelting, death of civilians and security personnel from August 5, 2019 till August 2020.
“After August 5, 2019, the number of terror incidents, stone-pelting cases, civilians and security force personnel martyred in terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir have reduced significantly,” said MoS G Kishan Reddy in a written reply to question asked by MP Anil Desai.
As per the data of Ministry of Home Affairs, from August 7, 2018 to August 4, 2019, the number of terrorist incidents reported were 443 as compared to just 201 post-August 5, 2019.
