New Delhi: Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan passed away this evening following illness. He was 74.
His son and MP Chirag Paswan paid condolences to his father.

Paswan had underwent a heart surgery recently and continued to remain in the hospital.
He was the Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution in the present Government.
