Ahmedabad: Almost after seven long months, India’s pride and world’s tallest statue, Statue of Unity will reopen today for viewing for tourists. It was closed after the spread of unprecedented coronavirus pandemic in the country.
“Statue of unity will be reopened for visitors from 17th October 2020 with the slot timings. Tickets can be booked online only,” the official website of Statue of Unity said.
The reopening of the tourist destination comes with several limitations this time where only 2500 tourists will be allowed per to visit the statue per day. Only 500 tourists will be allowed to enter the view gallery made inside the statue.
