Congress deletes Modi govt attack tweet after BJP criticises for using picture from Bangladesh to defame India

New Delhi: The Congress party who tried to overpower the BJP has utterly failed in its attempt. The Congress attacked the ruling party over the Global Hunger Index 2020 report and said that “the BJP government is pushing our nation back into the clutches of extreme poverty and starvation and undoing decades of development by previous governments.”

The tweet they shared had an image of children from neighbouring Bangladesh, as rightly pointed out by the Union Minister Kiren Rijiju.

“Why is Congress Party using picture from Bangladesh to defame our own country? Why?,” asked the Union Minister.

“India has improved it’s ranking from 102 to 94, and is improving further. Under PM @narendramodi Ji, India is providing free ration to more than 80 crore needy people during COVID-19 pandemic,” Kiren Rijiju added.

India ranks 94 out of 107 nations in Global Hunger Index. According to the report, 14% of India’s population is undernourished.
