New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed gratitude and paid tributes to police personnel on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day.
He said that this day is about expressing gratitude to our police personnel and their families all across India. We pay tributes to all the police personnel martyred in the line of duty.

PM Modi said that from preserving law and order to solving horrendous crimes, our police personnel always give their best without hesitation.

Observed on October 21 every year, the Police Commemoration Day remembers the sacrifices of ten policemen who died in Chinese firing in 1959.
