New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is likely to visit Sikkim on Dussehra to boost the morale of troops deployed against the People’s Liberation Army, reported ANI.
This comes amid the ongoing standoff with China. His visit is expected on October 23-24 and is according to reports, a number of road projects and strategic bridges built for easy movement of troops and common citizens to border areas.
The Defence Minister may also visit the forward locations to review the security preparedness to tackle any attempt of infiltration by the Chinese.
