Thiruvananthapuram: The state recorded new 8369 cases of the coronavirus disease today. At the same time 6839 people recovered from the disease.
Ernakulam recorded with 1190 cases followed by Kozhikode 1158, Thrissur 946, Alappuzha 820, Kollam 742, Malappuram 668, Thiruvananthapuram 657, Kannur 566, Kottayam 526, Palakkad 417, Pathanamthitta 247, Kasaragod 200, Wayanad 132 and Idukki 100.
With 26 more deaths, the death toll has reached 1232.
Of the confirmed cases, 160 came from outside of the state. 7262 people infected through local transmission.
