New Delhi: India records only 36,469 cases of the coronavirus disease in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 79,46,429, according to the Union Health Ministry.
There are 6,25,857 active cases after a decrease of 27,860 in the last 24 hours. With more 63,842 recoveries, the total recoveries now stands at 72,01,070.
The country recorded only 488 deaths, taking the death toll to 1,19,502.
