New Delhi: The country has reported 13 more cases of the genetically modified Corona virus infection taking the total number of cases to 71.
The infection was detected in a genome sequencing test conducted at the Indian SARSCOV-2 Genomics Consortium Labs (INASGOG) specially set up by the Central Government to monitor mutations in the virus. With this, the number of genetically modified corona cases in the country has risen to 71, said the Secretary of the Department of Biotechnology , Dr Renu Swaroop.
The Union Ministry of Health has directed the states to monitor those who come in contact with patients in the face of increasing outbreaks. The Ministry of Health has warned people to be vigilant as the new corona virus has the potential to spread 70 percent faster.
