New Delhi: “After inoculation, I will continue working without any hesitation. Earlier, I used to hesitate during duties due to coronavirus. Now, there will not be any hesitation”, says Manish Kumar, a sanitation worker who was the first person to receive the Covid 19 vaccine shot.
In a statement given to ANI, Kumar said that he is feeling better after getting the shot and that this is a big step for the country as well. “I am having no issues like itching or anything. It is a big step for the country. Those who are having apprehensions after reading Whatsapp messages about these vaccines should not fear. After getting the shot, I am feeling better now” said Kumar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi ha launched India’s Covid Vaccination Drive earlier this day via video conferencing. Labelled as the biggest vaccine drive in the world, it aims to vaccinate around three health care and frontline workers in the first phase.
