New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi to get the Covid 19 vaccine shot in the second phase of the vaccination drive held across the country. Sources informed that the Prime Minister along with all the Chief Ministers will be administered the vaccine dose after the phase 1 ends.
The vaccination drive which was launched across the nation on January 16, aims to vaccinate about three crore health workers in the first phase. The move is expected to instil confidence among the general public and will put a stop to the rumors about the efficacy and safety of the vaccine.
India has approved two Covid 19 vaccines namely, Covishield by the Serum Institute and Covaxin by the Bharat BioTech, for restricted emergency use.
