Jeneva: The World Health Organisation Chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Saturday lauded India for the ‘selfless work’in the battle against Covid 19. He took down to Twitter to thank the Prime Minister and the nation for the tremendous effort put in during the difficult time.
“Thank you India and Prime Minister narendramodi for your continued support to the global #COVID19 response. Only if we #ACTogether, including sharing of knowledge, can we stop this virus and save lives and livelihoods”, tweeted the WHO Chief.
India had earlier supplied covid 19 vaccines to several nations including Brazil, Bangladesh, Nepal Bhutan and Maldives. With the approval of teo covid 19 vaccines- Covishield and Covaxin- for restrcted emergency use, India is turning out as the vaccine hub of the World.
