Dharmasala [Himachal Pradesh]: Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra experiences Mercury drops as Dhauladhar region receives snowfall. The heavy rain and snow falls in the region have decreased the temperature in the Kangra valley resulting in the disruption of normal life at several places.
In a statement given to news agency ANI, Vipin, a local farmer told “Dharmasala is witnessing heavy rainfall and low temperature recently. However, the days are a little warmer as the sky is clear. Dhauladhar range wore a white mantle after snow lashed the region”.
The temperature in the region has fallen down to 2 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours. As per the incoming weather reports, the region will continue to receive rain and snowfall for the next two days. The weather experts have forecasted similar weather conditions in the Shimla, Kullu, Kinnaur, Kangra and Chamba districts also.
