New Delhi: Union Agricultural Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Monday said that the protest against the farm laws will end soon. In an interview given to news agency ANI, Tomar said ‘The protest will end soon’.
He said that India is a democratic country and everyone has the right to protest. “Naturally, we are a democracy and everyone has the right to protest if one does not agree with something and present their view. When we see that some farmers, though are very few in numbers, are protesting then we should solve the crisis through talks and government is still hopeful of a solution”, said the Minister.
The Minister mentioned that the police officials and the protestors have the responsibility to ensure a peaceful tractor rally tomorrow. He also said that the Central government is committed towards the welfare of farmers and agriculture.
