New Delhi: In the 72nd Republic Day parade Uttar Pradesh’s tableau displayed the statue of Ram Mandir which is under construction at Ayodhya.
Starting with the statue of Valmiki composing the epic Ramayana, the epitome of the Ram Mandir was featured in the middle of the tableau. Then followed the murals showing different scenes from the Ramayana. The forepart of the tableau showed Deepotsava of Ayodhya.
The statue of the Ram Mandir was displayed in the official float of the UP government. As the epitome of Ayodhya’s cultural identity passed the main stage, all the Ministers and other guests stood up as a token of respect and proud.
