New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to deploy additional security in Delhi in order re-establish the law and order situation in Delhi. This is after the clashes between the Delhi police and the protesting farmers have enlarged security concerns in the capital city.
The decision was made in the high level meeting presided by Central Home Minister Amit Shah. Talking about the move, a senior government official in a statement to ANI said, “Yesterday, 15 companies of paramilitary forces were sent to Delhi. Ten were from CRPF and rest five were from other paramilitary forces. Similarly, five companies were on standby today”.
This is following the suspension of internet services temporarily in the borders of Delhi. The internet services will re-established from 11:59 pm today.
