New Delhi: The Kisan Samyuktha Morcha has called off the tractor rally after the clashes with the police in the Capital city. They however said that they will move forward with the peaceful protests.
“We have appealed to all participants to immediately return back to their respective protest sites. The movement will be continued peacefully and further steps will be discussed and decided soon”, they said in a statement.
They further said that they condemn and regret the violence that happened earlier today in Delhi. They alleged that “anti-social elements had infiltrated the otherwise peaceful movement”. Earlier today the tractors rally conducted by the farmers had breached into the ITO area in Delhi and had resorted to violence by vandalizing public properties.
