New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme on Sunday said that the nation was shocked to witness the insult of the national flag on Republic Day. Prime Minister said that the violence was very unfortunate especially after celebrating different festivals together days before the R-Day.
“The nation was shocked to witness the insult of the tricolour on January 26. We have to fill the coming days with hope and novelty”, said the Prime Minister during Mann Ki Baat.
He lauded the Indian Cricket team’s hard work and effort while the address. “This moth, we got good news from the cricket pitch. After initial hiccups, the Indian team bounced back gloriously and won the series in Australia. Our team’s hard work and team work was inspiring”. said PM Modi.
