New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday issued orders transferring the Israel Embassy blast case to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
Following this, NIA will soon register the FIR and start the investigation. Some NIA officials had already visited the spot when the blast took place. Further investigation will be carried as soon as the Delhi Police department handover all relevant evidence and other documents to the team.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and assured that India would deploy all its resources to find out and punish the perpetrators. Both the leaders expressed satisfaction about the close coordination between Indian and Israeli security agencies in this context.
