New Delhi : Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh rejects the invitation from Pakistan, for the ground breaking ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor passage.
The invitation of Pak Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, from Pakistan was rejected with all due respect. Indian Union Minister explains the reason as the pre committed election campaigns and other official programs. On the other hand Navjot Singh Sidhu has sought permission from the Central Ministry to be a part of the function.
Central Ministry has designated Indian foreign minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Harsimrat Kaur Badal ,Minister of Food Processing Industries to take part in the ceremony, which will be held on 28th of this month. Constant breach of ceasefire agreement by Pakistan forced India to evaluate Imran Khan Government’s attempts as show off. However Union Ministers are sent to the ground breaking ceremony to recreate a friendly atmosphere between the two countries.
