Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated Mamata Banerjee on taking oath as West Bengal’s Chief Minister.

Banerjee, the All India Trinamool Congress chief, was sworn in as the chief minister for the third consecutive term this morning after she led her party to a sweeping victory with 213 seats in the 294 seats Assembly polls.
Governor Jagdeep Dhankar administered the oath of office and secrecy at a simple function under the Covid situation.
