Maharashtra reported 82,226 cured patients were discharged across in the state which is highest in a single day on Saturday.
With this total number of recoveries goes up to 43,47,582 in the state, according to the state health bulletin. In the last 24 hours, 53,605 new COVID-19 cases and 865 deaths reported in the state.
The fresh surge has taken the infections tally to 50,53,336 while the death toll to 75,277.
The recovery rate has now goes up to 88.03 per cent, owing to the sudden spurt in cases. The fatality rate is 1.49 per cent.
The state has an active caseload of 6,28,213 patients, undergoing treatment at different Covid Care Centres and hospitals.
