Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin today announced Rs 25 lakh assistance to 43 doctors, who died of COVID during the last one year, besides incentives to doctors, nurses and other medical staff during the current second wave of pandemic.
CM Stalin also announced special incentives to doctors, nurses, sanitary workers, lab technicians, CT scan and ambulance staff who were involved in COVID-related treatment day and night.
He said during the second wave of COVID period of three months-April, May and June, Rs 30,000 would be given to doctors as incentive, Rs 20,000 for nurses and Rs 15,000 for other staff, besides Rs 20,000 for PG and trainee doctors.
