Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed displeasure over the killing of 3 dreaded criminals inside the Chitrakoot jail on Friday morning and has sought a report on the matter within just six hours.
Chief Minister has summoned the report of the incident from the Director General of Jail Anand Kumar.
DG jail has set up a 3 member committee to investigate the matter. The committee will submit its report to the government within 6 hours.
The clash between Mukim Kala and his partner Merajuddin alias Meraj Ali with Sitapur’s gangster Anshu Dixit occurred at Chitrakoot District Jail at around 10 am on Friday that resulted in a shootout.
Anshu Dixit fired on them and killed Mukim Kala and Merajuddin alias Meraj Ali. After the information about firing in the jail, the police surrounded Anshu Dixit from all sides and asked him to surrender. But when he refused, Anshu was killed by the police.
