Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Prahlad Joshi here on Saturday asserted that B S Yediyurappa will remain as the Chief Minister of Karnataka and there are no talks in the BJP party about his replacement.
“Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa is working well, despite his age. Discussion about changing is not before the party,” Mr Joshi told mediapersons here.
The assertion from Mr Joshi comes after reports of leadership change in the state have emerged. The Union Minister asked the leaders here to focus on the COVID-19 situation instead of politics.
Over the pandemic situation, Mr Joshi said the lockdown will continue till June 7 and thereafter CM Yediyurappa and his cabinet ministers will decide with expert consultations.
