Aurangabad: The BJP will organize a statewide ‘chakka jam’ agitation on June 26 to demand restoration of political reservation for OBCs in local bodies.
Addressing a news conference here on Wednesday, city president Sanjay Kenekar said that the agitation will take place at 1000 hours at Akashwani Chowk in the city.
He further said that the agitation will also be held in all the talukas of the district. Before the press briefing, BJP office-bearers had organised a meeting here at Bhanudas Chavan Sabhagruh to discuss and decide future of course of action in this regard.
