New Delhi, Jun 27 (UNI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended his best wishes to the newly sworn-in ministers in N Rangaswamy Cabinet in the Union Territory of Puducherry.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, “Best wishes to all those who took oath as Ministers in Puducherry today. May this team work with determination and fulfil the aspirations of the wonderful people of Puducherry.”
The newly appointed five ministers in N Rangaswamy Cabinet in the Union Territory of Puducherry were sworn-in on Sunday afternoon.
The ministers who took oath are K Lakshminarayanan, Theni C Jayakumar, Chandirapriyanga ( all from N R Congress) and A Namassivayam and Sai J Saravanan Kumar (both from BJP).
Lt Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Ministers at a simple function in front of the Raj Niwas abiding Covid appropriate behaviour.
Chief Minister N Rangaswamy, Assembly Speaker R Selvam, legislators, senior N R Congress, AIADMK and BJP functionaries and senior officials of the territorial administration are among others who participated in the swearing-in ceremony.
