New Delhi, Jul 10 (UNI): The newly elected Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi here and reportedly apprised him about the Covid-19 situation as well as other issues related to the state.
In the nearly 40-minute meeting with the Prime Minister at his residence, Mr Dhami informed him about the preparedness to deal with the possible third wave of Covid-19 and the procedures being taken to enhance vaccination in the state to contain the spread of the disease, sources said.
It was the first formal meeting of Dhami with the Prime Minister after he took over the charge of Uttarakhand Chief Minister.
Mr Dhami took over on July 4 as Uttarakhand`s new Chief Minister replacing Tirath Singh Rawat.
