Lucknow: Zero covid cases in 50 districts out of 75 districts in the past 24 hours in Uttar Pradesh. In ten districts, active covid cases are zero. Thirteen districts have one covid patient in each. UP additional chief secretary Navneeth Sehghal informed this. Yogi government has successfully controlled covid second wave.
Aligarh, Amethi, Chitrakoot, Etah, Firozbad, Hatras, Mirzapur, Pilibhit, Pratapghat districts have no covid patients. New covid cases are from 19 cities. Main industrial cities Lucknow and Varanasi have 6 covid cases each day. From 65 districts, total covid patients are 659. Lucknow has most covid patients. 60 people are affected with covid in Lucknow. Kushinagar has 50 active cases. All other districts have less than 25 each day.
In the beginning of second wave, covid cases reported were high in UP. But through successful preventive measures, covid cases were able to control by Yogi Government. Yogi model covid preventive measures were applauded internationally. States including Kerala need to follow this model. Kerala has still not able to control covid. Most populated state like UP has successfully controlled covid.
