New Delhi: The reasons for severe covid spread in Kerala are listed by the Central Team. Measures including lockdown regulations have not been effective in Kerala and that’s why covid spread is not reducing. The report regarding this was given to the Central Government by the Central Team.
In Kerala, covid affected and those in contact with them are observed while they stay at home. The daily covid spread and TPR are increasing because of this. The border between villages and cities not clearly exists in Kerala, also a reason for high covid increase. Also, there are a large number of senior citizens in Kerala. People who are affected with other diseases are also in large number here and hence covid spread is also high.
Local lockdowns have not been effective. There are suggestions to intensify local lockdowns. There are apprehensions that the relaxations provided to Kerala will pose a challenge to state itself.
