Ayodhya: President Ram Nath Kovind will be the first ever Indian President to visit Ayodhya Temple on August 29th. He will be arriving by a special train to Ayodhya with his family to offer prayers at the makeshift temple.
Train will start from Delhi and it will reach Charbagh railway station in Lucknow. From there it will reach Ayodhya in two hours and twenty minutes.
The arrangements in the temple town are in the last lap to welcome the President. The renovations in the Ayodhya railway station are in progress. Northern Railway’s General Manager Ashuthosh Gangal visited the station to take a stock of the development activities there. President’s journey will not affect the people in the town. Also, notice will be issued to the public regarding the security arrangements in connection with President’s visit, said Asuthosh Gangal.
This is the second time the President will be visiting Uttar Pradesh by train. On June 25th, he visited his hometown Kanpur by train.
