Mumbai: Nine people including a teenager had alleged links with IS and formed Ummat-E-Mohmmadiya to execute terrorist activities,informed Anti Terrorism Squad. ATS arrested these nine people ahead of Republic Day. Among those arrested are Salman Khan, Fahad Shah, Zamen Kutepadi, Mohseen Khan, Mohammad Mazhar Shaikh, Taki Khan, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Zahid Shaikh and a 17-year-old boy. The arrested youngsters are well educated as the team has two engineers,one engineering student and one pharmacist.
Anti Terrorism Squad said that the detainees had plans to implement major massacre by poisoning food and water and they were making this move with the help of a terrorist who is staying abroad.
During the raids the ATS seized chemicals, powder, mobile phones, hard drives, SIM cards and acid bottle.
The people held were arrested from Mumbra,Thane and Aurangabad.
