Mumbai: The BJP and Shiv Sena have decided to face the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections together. Following the seat-sharing discussions BJP President Amit Shah, Shiv Sena Chief Uddav Thackeray and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnvis announced the decision together in an ultimate show of unity.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that both BJP and Shiv Sena believe in the same ideology. He continued that both the parties will work together for the people.
BJP will contest in 25 seats while Shiv Sena will contest in 23 seats in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
