Chennai: Madurai’s regional head of Popular Front of India was arrested after the raid conducted by NIA in Tamil Nadu. Muhammed Kaiser was arrested in the town of Palani.
The raid was conducted by the NIA after receiving information about anti-national activities being conducted by the illegal terrorist group, PFI. This led to the arrest of its regional head. The NIA is still conducting searches in different parts of Tamil Nadu focusing on districts of Chennai, Theni and Dindigul.
The NIA with the help of Tamil Nadu police are conducting searches in possible areas where they could find members of PFI, including offices of SDPI.
