BENGALURU: The police have registered a case in the incident were ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans were shouted during the victory celebration of Congress in Karnataka. The video of some people shouting pro-Pakistan slogans had gone viral on social media. The police have filed a case on the basis of this.
The incident happened in Karnataka’s Belagavi where some Congress workers shouted pro-Pakistan slogans by raising the Congress flags. Even minors were at the front row to shout the slogans. The police have registered a case as per IPC 153.
‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans were raised amid the allegations that the Congress received the votes of PFI, SDPI workers and Islamists. Sunni Ulama Board is said to have demanded a deputy Chief Minister position to one of the Muslim MLAs. They claim that it is necessary to have a deputy CM for the Muslim community and it is the responsibility of Congress to do so.
