New Delhi: Consequences of Pulwama terror attack comes in relays on Pakistan, UN Security Council resolution being the fresh one. In spite of Pakistan’s attempts against India in UN, the Security Council condemned Pakistan and Pulwama attack in strongest terms. China which has been tirelessly trying to block India’s attempts to ban Jaish e Mohammed chief Masood Azhar, also signed off on the United Nations Security Council resolution.
The UNSC statement on the ‘Suicide Bombing in Jammu and Kashmir’ said “The members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the heinous and cowardly suicide bombing in Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in over 40 Indian paramilitary forces dead and dozens wounded on February 14, 2019, for which Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility.”
UN also requested countries to cooperate with India in bringing in the perpetrators and sponsors of the terror attack to justice.
All the 15 members of the UNSC expressed their condolences and deepest sympathy to the families of the martyrs of Pulwama terror attack as well as to the Indian government.
After Pulwama incident Pakistan is being isolated internationally with major countries condemning the attack. With today’s UNSC resolution, all countries assure their strong support to India in fighting against terrorism.
