New Delhi: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Thursday that the BJP will again win the Lok Sabha elections scheduled for 2024 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Gadkari said while addressing the ‘Times Network India Economic Conclave’ that the administration has done outstanding work for the country’s growth during the previous nine years. There is a need to generate employment and eliminate poverty to achieve the PM’s goal of making India a $5 trillion economy.
In response to a question, the road transport minister said that they would win the next elections.
“We have done good work and will form the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. People will elect us for the country’s development,” he further added.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won 303 seats out of 543, while the Congress only managed to secure 52 seats.
