Madhya Pradesh: Congress has again questioned the authenticity of Indian Air Force’s airstrikes at Balakot in Pakistani territory destroying the Jaish-e-Mohammad’s biggest training camp and asked for proofs of the attack.
This time the demand comes from Senior Congress leader and AICC General Secretary Digvijaya Singh who asked for evidence just like how the US presented evidence after killing Osama Bin Laden.
He also congratulated the Pakistani Prime Minister for releasing Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman while asking for “solid proof” from the Indian Government.
Interestingly, Digvijaya Singh’s insensitive remarks follow after another Congress leader Salman Khurshid said that Abhinandan Varthaman received wings in 2004 and matured as a fighter pilot during UPA.
