Hyderabad: A news media reported that Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and Minister of Telangana, KT Rama Rao, has come out against the Congress party and accused it for destroying the nation. His statement is significant at it comes on the day when opposition parties are meeting at Patna to discuss strategies to face BJP and Narendra Modi in the coming 2023 Lok Sabha polls.
Incidentally, the BRS had skipped the opposition parties’ meeting at Patna, which was convened by Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar.
KT Rama Rao added that parties are against BJP however they are still not with the Congress.
The report quoted Rama Rao, who said, “Well the thing is you have to understand one simple philosophy that we have been championing. It’s not about uniting political parties. The agenda should be about uniting people on causes, people on issues.”
KT Rama Rao, popularly called as KTR, is the son of Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao. He is currently serving as minister in the Telangana cabinet handling portfolio of industries and commerce. He is MLA from Sircilla.
Earlier, Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao, had referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi has his “good friend”. He had said that they both exchange ideas on best practices in the state.
