New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate five new Vande Bharat Express trains, both physically and virtually, from Rani Kamlapati Railway Station in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The event is scheduled for Tuesday. In a tweet, the Prime Minister stated that he would be visiting Bhopal on June 27 to participate in two programmes. The first program involves the flagging off of the five Vande Bharat trains at Rani Kamalapati Railway Station. These trains aim to improve connectivity in the regions of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Bihar, and Jharkhand.
However, due to the possibility of heavy rains, the Prime Minister’s visit to Lalpur and Pakaria in Shahdol district has been postponed, as mentioned by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. He clarified that the program in Bhopal would continue as planned, while a new date for the visit to Lalpur would be decided based on weather conditions.
The inauguration of the five Vande Bharat Express trains is expected to commence at approximately 10:30 AM. The trains to be flagged off include Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express, Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express, Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express, Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, and Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express.

This train will be around two hours and thirty minutes faster than the current fastest train on the route.
Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express will be the first Vande Bharat Express for Goa, running between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai and Madgaon station in Goa. It is expected to reduce the journey time by approximately one hour compared to the existing fastest train on this route.
The Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will connect important cities in Karnataka, namely Dharwad, Hubballi, and Davangere, with the state capital, Bengaluru.
