Raipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Raipur, Chhattisgarh, today is set to mark the launch and commencement of ten projects valued at ₹7,600 crore. Among these projects, the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the four-lane section of the 33-km-long Raipur-Kodebod section of National Highway 30 and the 53-km-long four-lane Bilaspur-Pathrapali stretch of NH-130. Additionally, he will lay the foundation stones for the construction of three sections as part of the six-lane Raipur-Visakhapatnam economic corridor NH-130 CD, namely Jhanki-Sargi (43 km), Sargi-Basanwahi (57 km), and Basanwahi-Marangpuri (25 km).
Furthermore, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the doubling of the 103-km-long Raipur-Khariar Road Rail Line, which was built at a cost of ₹750 crore. He will also inaugurate a 17-km-long new railway line connecting Keoti-Antagarh and a bottling plant of the Indian Oil Corporation in Korba, with a capacity of 60,000 metric tonnes per annum, constructed at a cost of over Rs 130 crore.
In addition to these infrastructure projects, Prime Minister Modi will commence the distribution of 75 lakh cards to beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. He will also flag off a new train from Antagarh to Raipur. Following these events, the Prime Minister will address a public meeting at the same venue. State BJP chief Arun Sao expressed his belief that this rally, being the Prime Minister’s first in the state before the elections, will invigorate party workers and reenergize supporters. He further stated that lakhs of people are expected to attend the event, and all necessary preparations have been made for the public meeting.
To ensure the safety of the event, the police have implemented a robust security plan at the venue. Multiple layers of security, involving personnel from the state police as well as contingents of the Special Protection Group (SPG), have been put in place in the area. The venue has been fortified, and the adjoining areas have been thoroughly sanitised, as stated by a police official who refrained from providing further details regarding security arrangements.

Similarly, Chief Minister Adityanath inspected the Gita Press and the Gorakhpur railway station, where Prime Minister Modi is expected to participate in various functions. After visiting the Gita Press, the Chief Minister proceeded to platform No. 1 at the Gorakhpur railway station, following the same route that Prime Minister Modi will take. He gathered detailed information about the preparations made thus far from the railway and administration officials present there
