Warangla: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised the people of Telangana and spoke about their contribution in the history of India. He laid the foundation stones of various infrastructure development projects worth Rs.6100 crores in Warangal.
After the foundation stone laying ceremony, the PM said, “The state Telangana may be a new one. But the contribution of Telangana and its people in the history of India has always been great.”
He added that today when India has become the world’s-fifth-largest economy, the role of the people of the Telangana has been great. He also said that when world is coming to invest in India there are infinite opportunities for the people of Telangana.
The Prime Minister was received by slogans of “Bharat Maata Ki Jai” and “Vande Matram”. From Warangal the PM will travel to Bikaner in Rajasthan, where he will lay foundation stones of projects worth Rs.24,300 crores.
